3. Corduroy

Looking for something different to do on a Monday night? Head down to Corduroy for a drink, food and to compete in their weekly Rock Paper Scissors competition! Arrive by 9PM as this night sells out fast. Or check out their Open Mic night on Tuesday's between 7PM - 11PM. Watch some of Vancouver's best local talent.

4. Kitsilano Farmers Market - May to October

The perfect Sunday activity! Stroll on over to the farmer's market and browse local Vancouver artisans and producers.

5. Kitsilano Pool - May to October

The longest pool in Canada and the only salt-water pool in Vancouver! The pool features 3 waterslides, jumbo-sized tanning chairs, kids area with fountain and a cafe. 

Located on the Beach at Cornwall and Vine

 

6. Khatsahlano! Music + Arts Festival - July

A massive, free street party reminiscent of Kitsilano's 1960s rep for counterculture hippies and cool concerts. 50 bands take to the stages. Food trucks, fashion and street art will be available!

West 4th between Burrard and MacDonald

 

7. Vancouver Folk Music Festival - July

Right at Jericho Beach! This event attracts the world's leading folk musicians. 

 

8. Honda Celebration of Light, Late July & Early August

Celebration of Light is not only Vancouver's most popular annual event, but it's also the largest offshore international fireworks competition in the world. The event attracts up to 400,000 spectators along English Bay each evening.

TIP: you can watch the fireworks from Kitsilano Beach and have a little space for your picnic!
